recently had my two children enrolled in Teddy Time Daycare in Manlius, Ny. I can say with complete honesty, that I've never written a bad review about anything, but after really thinking it over, I felt somewhat irresponsible not sharing my experience. It was not that I felt as though my children were not safe, or that they were danger, but they simply weren't happy kids there. They've had numerous experiences with other baby sitters and two other daycare providers in the town we had relocated from. They normally loved to go to "school" and were excited to jump in the door and share the activities of the day. This was not the case with Teddy Time. They were anxious and teary when I dropped them off and anxious to get out the door when I arrived to pick them up. As a mother, it broke my heart, but I figured that I'd give it some more time. The turning point came when I came to pick up my two children who were playing by themselves on the floor by the front door. The two people who were there to care for them sat with their backs to my children texting on their cell phones. They did not seem to think that this was inappropriate even upon my arrival through the door. I then noticed that as I put my son's coat on to take him home, he had a poopy diaper that nobody bothered to change. I was crushed. The next day I pulled them out and regret ever walking in the front door. I hope this helps in someone seeking child care options in Manlius.
