Established in 1989, Prairie River Home Health Care provides home health care and outpatient pediatric rehabilitation services. Its pediatric outpatient rehabilitation center provides specialized medical services for infants, children and their families. It offers a variety of medical care services, including family medicine, pediatrics, adult medicine, family planning, midwifery, prenatal care, laboratory, podiatry, dermatology, eye care and adult day health. Its services include nursing and physician care, home health aids and therapies, such as occupational, physical and speech therapy. Prairie River Home Health Care provides nutrition programs, including counseling and education, health promotion, smoking cessation and asthma management. Additionally, the center offers teen services and the public cancer screenings. Prairie River Home Health Care is located in Mankato, Minn.
