Lee Elementary School, founded in 1953, enrolls approximately 200 students and employs more than 10 classroom teachers. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that sponsors several field trips, fine arts programs, luncheons and fundraising events. It provides English as a Second Language (ESL), Title I, and before- and after-school care programs. Lee Elementary School s staff members include a nurse, psychologist, custodian, Title I aide, social worker and paraprofessionals. The school offers special classes in art, Spanish, band and orchestra. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, language arts, social studies and English.
