A wonderful program with warm, caring teachers and director. I would recommend this school without a doubt. Children are happy and learning while having fun. The facility is always being updated and improved. It is clean, safe and attractive.

My daughter truly loved her North Shore Nursery School years as does my son now. The cooperative experience provides us the opportunity to be involved within the school and the wonderful special days allow us to see our children learn and interact socially. The teachers are loving and nurturing and we could not be happier!

Both my children attended NSNS and could not have been happier. The teachers are well qualified, nurturing and keep the children engaged. I wanted my children to love school and enjoy being in a learning environment, and that is what I got! The music and enrichment programs were wonderful. As a parent, I was happy to be part of a cooperative school and have the opportunity to participate in the classroom on a regular basis.

Obviously the last review was written by either a competitive school or someone who entered into the school family and didn't wow the cooperative with her presence. I have sent three children to North Shore and would send three more, if blessed. Unless you are in a sprawling country setting, most nursery schools will be 'small". The Director has been there for years as is the "3"s teacher, whom the children adore.

I totally recommend this school to my neighbors and friends. I have 3 kids and they all attended NSNS. What I love about the school is that I can be involved in my children's preschool years. I love that the school offers special days. The teachers are also very nurturing. The school has many fundraising events that are a lot of fun for the parents as well. NSNS is a wonderful preschool and I give it 5 starts!

4 stars because the school is small and facilities are old- small classrooms, small playground, small indoor play area, small parking lot. If you are looking for a LOT of space for your kids to run around, this is not the place... That said, everything else is WONDERFUL. Music program is excellent, director has been there for 20+ years, teachers -especially the 3s program, Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Hickey, are AMAZING...their classroom management skills, energy, loving yet firm approach, are perfect for 3s. This is a coop, so if you are looking for a place to drop off and just pick up, this is not for you...however, if you can spare 1 day a month to come into your child's class, it's perfect for observing the teacher, watching your child learn, getting involved. Last thing: this is a "christian" program but not so christian that it is exclusive. There are Jews, Hindus, Catholics, Protestants, etc, but all looking for an inclusive environment where morality and God are taught.

My family loves North Shore Nursery School. My son attended the twos program and my daughter has enjoyed the two's program, nursery, and is currently in the pre-k. The teachers are wonderful, it is a safe, nuturing environment, the cooperative program gives you a chance to meet the other families and to get to know them. It fosters a family atmosphere, perfect for making our children's entrance to schooling enjoyable, and a happy experience. These children will be prepared to enter elementary school next year. The children are learning, they are happy, and they want to go to school! -Laura

My family loves North Shore Nursery School as my daughter is a graduate and my son is in Pre-K there now. We also have a little one who will attend one day soon. The teachers are wonderful and the school provides a warm and nurturing environment for all of its students!

Both of my children attended this nursery school and loved every minute of it! The teachers are wonderful and very nurturing. The fact that it is a cooperative school was a big plus for me, I wanted to be involved with my childrens' first school experience.

I have had 3 children go through this nursery school, and I ahve been incredibly satisfied! They have a warm, nurturing atmosphere, with a just-right amount of focus on academics. All of my children were wonderfully prepared to attend Kindergarten, and were happy to go to Nursery school every day.

This is a warm and nurturing program that provides both academic and social learning for young children. Teachers are great and children love coming to school. My child was very happy here and is well prepared for kindergarten.
