General Info

As a pediatric surgeon, I care for children in a family-centered, respectful, and age-appropriate environment. I emphasize child-centered communication. The child's well-being is always at the center of my care. I ensure that my patients and their parents or guardians understand and agree with every step of the process and care plan.I enjoy working collaboratively with children, their families, and their care team. As a team, we care for children of all ages with many types of surgical problems. We've treated premature children who weighed less than a pound and teenagers who were taller than the surgeons. I also have a special interest in surgical oncology and trauma, which both involve collaborating with many different team members.
