MANCHESTER, NH - Opera New Hampshire is gearing up for its First Annual Taste of Opera Live & Silent Auction Event to be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH. Opera New Hampshire is celebrating more than 45 years of professional opera with an evening filled with auction excitement and live entertainment. MANCHESTER, N.H. - Opera New Hampshire, with its tradition of live opera performances, standing ovations, and extensive educational outreach, continues to thrive and grow. In an arts community that has been hit hard by the economic crisis, Opera New Hampshire enters into our 46th season as a debt-free non-profit organization, Opera New Hampshire President Rich Bojko said. Bojko credits Opera New Hampshire's success on their fiscally conservative all-volunteer Board of Directors and funding from approximately 38 foundations and corporate donors. Loyal sponsors, combined with our creative fundraising efforts, an impressive list of yearly subscribers, steadily mounting single ticket sales, and our campaign to attract younger audiences, all contribute to Opera New Hampshire's winning combination, he said.
