Run their business out of a residence. Weird

Beware of this CPA firm. My financial information was purposely shared with my estranged spouse without my permission by a CPA who was employed by Rognan. My spouse and I had been clients for 10 years. The CPA, listed as one of the partners of the firm, knew that my spouse and I were in the midst of a divorce and were living in separate households, yet he made a pre-emptive call to my soon-to-be ex to share my plans to file my taxes individually. The CPA had counseled me that I was within my rights to do so. The CPA did not file my taxes as directed, even though I had paid him $170 to do so. He instead made a call to advise my estranged spouse that by filing individually, our mutual tax liability would be dissimilar and in my favor. I discovered that the Rognan CPA had broken my trust and shared my personal financial information when I received a call from my soon to be ex. I made a call to the CPA who confirmed that he had indeed shared this information. I advised him that he needed to do what he was paid to do and file my taxes. He did so at that time. I shared my experience with the Mr. Rognan, who told me that he would 'check into it.' Numerous subsequent calls to Mr. Rognan to discuss the issue were never returned. This firm inserted itself into my personal business and did not hold my financial privacy in trust.
