- Dental ExaminationThe best way to prevent gum disease is effective daily brushing and flossing as well as regular professional examinations and cleanings. Unfortunately, even with the most diligent home dental care, people still can develop some form of periodontal disease. Once this disease starts, professional intervention is necessary to prevent its progress.

- Oral Cancer Screening
- Teeth CleaningA dental prophylaxis is a cleaning treatment performed to thoroughly clean the teeth and gums. Prophylaxis is an important dental treatment for stopping the progression of gingivitis and periodontal disease.
- Fluoride TreatmentLaser dentistry is one of dentistry’s latest advances. The laser delivers energy in the form of light. Depending on the intended result, this energy travels at different wavelengths and is absorbed by a “target.” In dentistry, these targets can be enamel, decay, gum tissue, or whitening enhancers. Each one absorbs a different wavelength of light while reflecting others. At Premier Dental Care, we utilize laser dentistry for soft tissue related procedures and detecting decay. Dr. Sobol often finds hidden decay in teeth in the early stages, and in some cases the decay can be reversed through hygiene and fluoride treatments and may never need a filling. The laser may also eliminate the need for sutures and speeds up healing time for surgical procedures.
- Dental SealantsHighly effective in preventing decay on the biting surfaces of your chewing teeth, dental sealants are a simple procedure in which a tooth-colored acrylic “coating” is painted onto the surface of the tooth. This effectively “seals” the deep grooves, acting as a barrier and protecting enamel from plaque and acids.
- Space Maintainers
- Fillings
- VeneersPorcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surfaces of the teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and versatility.
- CrownsMost dentistry looks like dentistry. At Premier Dental Care, our goal is to provide dentistry that is undetectable. We replace existing crowns and fillings with restorations that look and feel like your natural teeth.
- BridgesIf you’re missing one or more teeth, you may be aware of their importance to your appearance and dental health. Your teeth work together for many daily functions from eating to speaking. With missing teeth, it’s difficult to do these things. Missing teeth can and should be replaced. Fixed bridges are one option to restore your dental health and appearance.
- Dental BondingCosmetic bonding has been perfected through the years. The materials we have today are state of the art and color-matched. The tooth is prepared for the procedure by lightly etching the surface and applying a bonding liquid. Once the liquid sets, a resin is applied and sculpted into shape by Dr. Sobol. Once set, the resin is trimmed, smoothed and polished to a natural appearance.
- Restorative DentistryDr. Sobol and his team of highly trained professionals at Premier Dental Care are achieving amazing results with advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry. It takes years of advanced training to be able to design a natural looking smile. As an aesthetic dentist, Dr. Sobol combines artistry with sciene to create a smile that looks indistinguishable from nature. See for yourself. Visit our Smile Gallery.
- Pulpotomy
- Root Canal TreatmentIf you experience any of these symptoms, your dentist will most likely recommend non-surgical treatment to eliminate the diseased pulp. This injured pulp is removed and the root canal system is thoroughly cleaned and sealed. This therapy usually involves local anesthesia and may be completed in one or more visits depending on the treatment required. Success for this type of treatment occurs in about 90% of cases. If your tooth is not amenable to endodontic treatment or the chance of success is unfavorable, you will be informed at the time of consultation or when a complication becomes evident during or after treatment. We use local anesthesia to eliminate discomfort. In addition, we will provide nitrous oxide analgesia if indicated. You will be able to drive home after your treatment, and you probably will be comfortable returning to your normal routine.
- Deep Cleaning“When I first started coming to the office I was really scared of dentists. Each time I go now, I’m less and less scared. After a nice, deep cleaning and getting the PerioProtect® trays for my gums and teeth, I’m on a much better path to being healthier. The office staff is very friendly and understanding of the comfort and concerns their patients have. We have seen amazing results with the PerioProtect® trays, from day one up until now. I don’t say this much, but I enjoy going to Premier Dental.” – by Amber

- Oral Surgery
- Tooth ExtractionsYou and Dr. Sobol may determine that you need a tooth extraction for any number of reasons. Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed; others may have advanced periodontal disease, or have broken in a way that cannot be repaired. Other teeth may need removal because they are poorly positioned in the mouth (such as impacted teeth), or in preparation for orthodontic treatment.
