Chris Dumas. LMFT is a qualified and experienced clinician. HE has worked in the mental health field for 20 years and licensed in Connecticut AS a marriage and Family therapist since 2000. Chris has worked across ALL levels of care – inpatient. Outpatient. Partial hospital. Emergency room. Mobile crisis. And with ACT teams in the community. This experience with ALL ages and different walks of life enables HIM to “join” comfortably with people and precisely assess behavioral issues. Chris uses a Family systems approach in conceptualizing difficult behavioral issues that mobilize families to seek treatment. Chris has extensive training in dialectical behavioral therapy, a highly effective modality of treatment widely used by quality programs around the world.
