Its other products include diffuser cases and turbine cases, and engine and drive train components. The company s clients include Boeing, General Electric, McDonnell Douglas, Northrop Grumman and Sikorsky, as well as the United States Air Force, Army and Navy. The company is the only facility in the United States that combines, manufacturing and testing capability for complete transmissions for the AH-64A helicopter main, tail, intermediate and nose transmissions. Timken Purdy Systems was founded in 1946 and has headquarters in Manchester, Conn. Its manufacturing processes are certified according to ISO 9002 standards.
