Eastern Connecticut Health Network is a nonprofit health system consisting of two hospitals, a nursing home, two wellness centers, and other health-care partners. The health care network was formed in 1995 when Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital became partners. A variety of hospitals and health centers exist under the network s umbrella, including: Manchester Memorial Hospital, a full-service community hospital in the heart of Manchester, Conn., Rockville General Hospital, a full-service community hospital in the Rockville section of Vernon, Conn., Glastonbury Wellness Center, offering a unique combination of fitness, physicians and health education, Women's Center for Wellness, in Vernon, providing health and wellness services especially for women, and Woodlake at Tolland, providing long-term nursing care and short-term rehabilitation at a facility in Tolland, Conn. The network also operates special centers and services for occupational health, cancer treatment, kidney dialysis and walk-in medical care.
