Opened in 1968, Coles Elementary School enrolls more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. It is accredited by the Virginia State Department of Education. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Coles Elementary School additionally offers programs in art, music, and health and physical education. It also provides various center-based hearing impaired programs for children with hearing disabilities. The school offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program and conducts special education classes. Its parent-teacher association sponsors several school events, such as spring fairs, family movie nights and market days. Coles Elementary School is located in Manassas, Va., and is a part of Prince William County Public Schools.
