  This is a program designed to help hygienists raise their standard of care by appropriately increasing the amount of periodontal treatment done in the hygiene room through expanded modalities of treatment independent of insurance, even in insurance dependent practices. When patients are enlisted in periodontal treatment, they become healthier, they appreciate the higher standard of care and they accept more restorative dentistry. The program also fosters increasing the recognition of the restorative needs of the patients and it gives them the verbal tools to inspire patients to want the care and overcome the usual objections to care.

  Two and a half years ago I had a well-established, 28 year old dental practice that seemed to be flat lining despite the high quality of service we provided. My team and I lacked enthusiasm and the practice became stale. Even our physical office reflected that.
