Amazing Went there for my 30th birthday on a Sunday evening. Service, drinks, atmosphere, and especially the beef were nothing short of amazing.
A massive improvement to the old boathouse. Gorgeous inside! The food was great! Drinks were well mixed and the environment was really nice. Pricing was good as well, particularly for dinner - a great bargain when equated with other local places. I have been in a few occasions and have had mixed service - 1) Perfect! 2) overly attentive and chatty, and 3) almost scared to chat with us. Still, this place has great potential for a long running success. Service will recover as it remains open. The lower level has not been improved and should still be avoided. I understand it has plans to be renovated in the spring 2011. Finally, the old DJ booth will vanish!
Great American Cuisine "Inn", with very consistant food and service. Our new hangout is Warren Tavern which has great small plates and live music. Tommy the bartender is a class act and consumate professional. Have followed him from bar to bar since the 1980's! Even has hotel rooms upstairs perfect for a snowy night.

My favorite restaurant in the western Philadelphia suburbs. Owners have maintained the historic "revolutionary" feel while providing very consistent food and service, along with modern things like A/C, wireless internet, and great website. Great classics on the menu along with "new age" items to keep it fresh. Outdoor pation for dining (and a wedding that I attended.) New bar with it's own menu and live music. Has guest suites (I have never stayed) too. Never disappointed, so I highly recommend!

Nice old road house. Colonial fare with period dressed staff. bananas foster is a great way to end the meal.
Very consistent inn with excellent food, great service staff and hotel rooms. I travel to Malvern regularly and always stay overnight and have dinner there. My company also has private room dinner meetings. Outdoor patio when the weather is warm. Tavern has a sharing menu and free WIFI.
