Learn how to apply for a Service Dog. We are ADI accredited and provide Assistance Dogs to qualifying people in California. We train Hearing Dogs for deaf and hard-of-hearing people. Dogs that do not complete training are 'Career Changed' and placed for adoption as adoptable or companion pets on our website. We adopt shelter dogs and common breeds we use in our training program are (or mixes of) Poodle, Pomeranian, Spaniels, Terriers, Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Retrievers, Border collie, Aussie, Hounds.

I am amazed with this nonprofit organization. With all the training for Dogs for the Deaf and all the expense of running the organization, he does NOT take private donations. He pays for all the costs himself. And for the dogs that don't graduate into Dogs for the Deaf, he adopts them out to forever homes at no charge. For people in LA County that can't afford to spay or neuter their animals, he has a spay and neuter service at no charge too! He has given up working just to run this Foundation. I admire the man and his life calling!
