State Line Diner has been family owned and operated for over 35 years. Located in Mahwah, New Jersey, the reason behind our continued success is our usage of high quality ingredients in our vast menu as we only use certified Angus beef and fresh fish, in addition to our family friendly atmosphere. Since opening its doors in 1976, we have expanded and renovated our dining area multiple times. In addition, continued updates and additions to our already vast and appealing menu selection ensures a dining experience that is second to none! Reliably good food, large menu, usually friendly and fairly quick service, reasonable prices and responsive management. My family has been dining at Stateline Diner for more than 20 years and our experience has usually been terrific. The very few times we experienced slow service or burned food, management quickly put it right. We eat some meal at Stateline about once a week - breakfast is a favorite. Coffee and one of their incredibly delicious desserts is also a favorite. Very much recommended!!
Dined at this place for years and the service has seemed to go down hill. We ordered pancakes and had to wait 5 minutes for syrup. The waitress kept bumping into me on her way to the kitchen. She actually approached the table and said that she "thought she was done for the day".So you can imagine how disinterested she was in being helpful. e ordered dessert to go and it was old tasting cake and at almost $4.00 per slice what a dissappointment.Maybe they can get their acts together and if I hear good things I may try them again, but for now, no way.
