The Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute is a public safety training institution that is comprised of police, fire and emergency management service academies. It provides training and educational programs to firefighters, emergency medical personnel, government employees, the general public, and police, correction and law enforcement officers in the various aspects of public safety. The Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute also serves corporate, government, civic leaders and the public safety communities Located in Mahwah, N.J., the institute s facilities include a life safety complex, 32-position outdoor firing range, confined space area and smoke tower.
