Crestwood Elementary School is one of the elementary schools governed by the Madison Metropolitan School District, and offers classes from grades prekindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes detailed study of various subjects, including English language, science, foreign languages, social studies, mathematics, performing and visual arts, and music. It also provides field trips and choir programs, and various extracurricular activities, including volleyball, basketball, football and softball. The school is located in Madison, Wis., and serves more than 380 students in Dane County. The school has a parent-teacher organization to support the work of the school system, including enrichment programs, special events and projects. Crestwood Elementary School also provides meal and transportation services. The school district operates MMSD-TV 10, a cable channel that provides live telecast of the meetings of the Madison Board of Education.
