Dr. Rupen Joshi is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with more than 10 years of medical experience in Adult Primary Care and Geriatrics. The areas of expertise are Diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol and Heart, Lung and Thyroid Disorders. He has admitting priviledges at both Crestwood Medical Center and Huntsville Hospital. He has been practicing medicine in Huntsville, AL since 2005. Dr. Joshi completed his residency training from New York Methodist Hospital-Cornell and has worked in the VA Medical Center in Montgomery for 5 years with adult and geriatric patients. He received an employee recognition award from the Chief of Staff at the VA Medical Center for giving excellent patient care. Dr. Joshi also worked as a research associate at the LAC-USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Joshi keeps up with all the latest medical technology in order to provide the best patient care. He continually reads medical journals and studies to stay abreast of findings in the industry. Dr. Joshi believes above all that a physician must be a good listener if he is to help his patients. He believes that many patients problems can be resolved just by listening and asking the right questions. He also believes that a good physician must have the latest knowledge of medicine and technology, and most of all, a good physician should have a compassionate heart so that he/she may deliver the best patient care possible.
