Oklahoma Steel and Wire Company was founded in 1979 by B.L. Moore and Robert Lockridge in Madill Oklahoma. The company originally had five employees and one wire welder. The company has since opened its sister company Iowa Steel and wire in Centerville, Iowa. Oklahoma Steel and Wire now has more than 300 employees and supplies products to the agricultural and industrial sectors nation wide. The companies agricultural products include panels, field fence, utility fabric, barbed wire, T-post and clips, fence stays, electric fence wire and post, cattle fence, chain link, game fence and baler wire. Oklahoma Steel and Wire s industrial products include welded wire mesh, galvanized wire, bright basic wire, high carbon wire, straight and cut wire, gate rods, straight and cut acoustical hanger wire and rebar tie wire.
