OH NO!!! What happened to the young man that was so wonderful??? I hope nothing bad happened to him! Mostly, I hope he comes back! I hadn't been in for a while, but I stopped by to get some beer and a cigar for my husband, but he wasn't there. So I asked, and they said that he no longer works here :( I still love this store, but I had to give a 4-star rating, and take a star away, because that nice young man is no longer there. If he comes back, I'll change this back to 5 stars. But it can't be 5 stars without him!!!

I visited this store b/c I read the recommendations on this site (so I figured I'd see what all the fuss was about & see if they are really that wonderful). Plus, I had to buy a box of cigars for a friend (a subject that I know nothing about, so I figured I'd go out of my way to this establishment to see if it is as great as the other reviews say). Honestly, even after reading all of the other reviews, I was still amazed about how great this store's customer service was. In particular, there was a young man that worked in there (he seemed to be the "cigar specialist"), and if I could, I would give him 10 stars out of 5. He was soooooo helpful! He was tentative, patient, knowledgeable, helpful, & on & one, & etc. forever!!! This store now has a new customer, simply due to the wonderful treatment I received by that one young man. EXCELLENT! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Highly Recommend! I loved the guy who helped me pick out the cigars and the wines I purchased as Christmas gifts. The store was very busy, but this gentleman took as much time out to help me in picking out the very best gifts. He was very knowledgeable about both the cigars and the wines (& he even gift wrapped them for me!). He was conscious of what I was able to spend for the gifts, and even specifically reminded me which cigar/wine bottle was for each specific person in which I planned to give each of them to. For example, I told him that I wanted to spend a specific amount of money on each of 4 different people, and he tailored his recommendations based on that information. I was absolutely blown away by the effort and time spent with me, as well as the expertise in the suggestions recommended. And every single gift ended up being perfect for each of the people who received them. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Especially from the young man who wears the "camo" Braves ball cap. 6 STARS!!!

Unaware of its existence, I found them on my GPS, looking for cigars to buy as gifts. So I stopped in, with no preconceived expectations, but was truly amazed by the first-class treatment I received! When I asked one employee if he could help me, he kindly asked me to hold on one second so he could get another employee. At first, I thought he was blowing me off (esp when I saw that the other employee was a younger guy). BUT, I quickly realized that he was genuinely trying to offer me the best service possible (because the younger guy seemed to have a diploma in "cigar aficionado"! He was so knowledgeable to be so young). Anywho, he was so helpful in assisting me in my clueless efforts to buy these cigars. With just a few questions to get some information, he gave me an assortment of cigars that the recipients each loved. His patience, knowledge, and kindness (as well as the fact that he picked out the perfect cigar for each person) simply astounded me. So I highly recommend this shop!

All around great store. It's a local, small, family-owned business, where you are treated with the utmost respect and given the utmost service, whether you are a novice or a conneseour of thier product. I especially have to tip my hat to the father-son tandem that runs the night shift, because without them, the store would lose a lot of its personality. I love the young man that works his little tail off, often sweating from his work ethic and ensuring everything is taken care of. This is a wonderful establishment, and I would recommend it over any of its competitors. While it is convenient for me to shop there, I would pass by others, if necessary, just to shop at this store due to the wonderful, top-notch, customer service I receive every time I visit this shop. They are definitely #1 in my book!

I have never been into this store before yesterday because I was unaware of its existence. But after searching through the "Yellow Pages", finding, then going to 3 other stores, I finally stopped by Vineville Beverage & Cigar, and now, I will never need to use the "Yellow Pages" when searching for a cigar &/or package store because no other store, in any type of retail business, has the selection, but more importantly, the high level of customer service and genuinely helpful personnel, that this store has. I was so amazed to experience such a high level of courtesy, helpfulness, knowledge, etc. And even more impressively, all of these high qualities services came from a very young man. I was so impressed by the treatment I received from this courteous, respectful, well-mannered young man, I even call him later that evening to express my appreciation. I wanted to write something but I didn't know what to write, so I took the tips on the side. Why is this business a favorite of yours? Because they are really cool and nice every time I see them, and they always help me with liquor, beer, or cigars, and they if my girlfriend goes up there by herself at night they walk or watch her to her car What is unique about this business? they try harder than any other ones to make their customer happy Did you get great service? everytime I go in there, I get great service. They seem to remember every single person that comes in, or they are good actors. But they are not only the best liqor store, or cigar store, or beer store, they are the best store period.

I wanted to write a review to let others know about how great this store is, but when I got on this site, I see that a great review is unnecessary because this store has nothing but great reviews. Everything positive in the other reviews are true. And again, I just wanted to let others know of the wonderful customer service, personal attention, warm feeling, security of the staff making sure females get into their cars safely, and even product selection of this store. I love this place and will pass by other package/cigar stores in order to shop with the gentlemen at this establishment!

GREAT STORE, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT SELECTION, GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! I love the young guy that works there at night!! :) He is always so sweet & such a gentleman, & he is always working hard, as well as being very helpful. However, I wanted to rate them with 4.5 of 5 stars due to some aspects (e.g. the guy who runs the store--the guy who is there during the day--can be rude at times; & the guy who runs the night shift--the one that is there every night--can be a little overwhelming, meaning he likes to talk and talk, but doesn't seem to want to allow anyone else to do so. But overall, he is a very nice man). But I digress! I would DEFINITELY recommend this store to anyone looking for a drink or a good smoke. Unlike their competitors, this store has personality, & it's often a pretty fun experience. They are very knowledgeable & helpful. And they always make sure that I get to my car safely at night. So again, OVERALL, IT IS A GREAT ESTABLISHMENT!!! Definitely the best in Middle GA.

Absolutely the very best shop I've ever visited. I usually only shop there in the evening, and the guys working at night are WONDERFUL and a delight to deal with. I think they are father and son because one is around 50 yrs old and the other is in his 20s and they not only look alike, but they are also both true gentlemen and very helpful. It's also rare to see a young man in his 20s with such work ethic and manners that he has. My first visit was only because I was on that side of town. But I returned, even though it's out of my way, because of their customer service. After the treatment I was given, esp by the young man, I was compelled to write this review. I definitely recommend this store!

This package store well exceeds any other package store that I have been into in the 4 states in which I have lived over the past 20 years. Not only do they either have or are willing to order whatever I want, but it is truly a pleasure to visit this store. I usually only get to shop in the evenings, and the 2 fellows I always see in there (1 young gentlemen and 1 guy a little older) are a delight to deal with. If one doesn't know, it seems like the other does. Because I have just moved to Macon, GA, I felt compelled to comment these men because in my 50+ years, I have never been treated with such courteous, helpfulness. And I was surprised to see a young man (I don't know his age; I'd guess early 20's) with such knowledge, respect, and such a work ethic. It's not seen much in that generation, but he exemplifies the work ethic as if he owns the place himself. GREAT STORE! 6 STARS
