- Dental ExaminationThe journey to a beautiful, healthy smile is different for each patient. To help plan your care, we begin with a complete dental examination and personal consultation with Dr. Booth. He will check the condition of your teeth, gums and jaw joints to provide you with recommendations to keep your smile healthy. Your input is vital to this process - it is important that we understand your health goals and how to best work with your schedule and comfort level to accomplish them.
- X-raysYour child's dental examination will include a review of current digital dental x-rays as needed to give you an assessment of their oral health and advise you of any orthodontic concerns. We may also recommend fluoride treatments or sealants to help prevent tooth decay.
- Oral Cancer ScreeningOral cancer is a growing concern in the U.S. Dr. Booth performs an oral cancer screening at each examination appointment to look for suspicious areas that may require follow up. Early detection of oral cancer can be life-saving. At any time, if you or a loved one have any unusual lumps or sores in the mouth that don't go away in about a week, please contact our Macon Dental office to schedule an appointment. Dr. Booth will see you for an examination and recommend any testing as needed to rule out oral cancer.

- VeneersDental veneers are shell-like coverings that are adhered to the front surfaces of teeth to enhance smile appearance. They are usually made of dental porcelain. Because veneers require minimal tooth preparation, they are often used to make cosmetic changes to healthy teeth, such as closing gaps, or to restore contour and shape to worn teeth to create a more youthful appearance. They are the ideal solution for minor smile imperfections such as chipped or stained teeth, slightly rotated or overlapped teeth. We can usually complete your dental veneers in as little as two visits.
- CrownsA dental crown or "cap" is used to rebuild and cover a tooth that has been structurally compromised by decay, broken-down fillings, or trauma. Crowns can be designed using a number of materials, with or without metal, depending on biting forces and location of the tooth in the mouth. Many dental metals are available in tooth shades, so in most cases Dr. Booth can design a natural-looking restoration to complement your smile.
- BridgesDental Bridges are fixed replacements that rely on adjacent teeth to support a "false" tooth (or multiple teeth) to fill a space created by tooth loss. A bridge can be supported by natural teeth, or in the case of multiple missing teeth, may be supported by dental implants.
- Dental BondingDental bonding procedures and tooth-colored composite fillings are often used to repair small areas of damage or decay. While they do not have the same durability as crowns or veneers, composite materials can be an economical cosmetic approach for concealing minor flaws in front teeth.
- Restorative DentistryWe offer a full array of restorative dentistry options to repair and restore damaged, missing or discolored teeth and bring health and vibrancy back to your smile.
- Root Canal TreatmentVera has been a Dental Assistant since 1980. She joined our practice in 2011. She has extensive experience in specialty dentistry, including orthodontics and endodontics (root canals). Her knowledge and compassion are a delight for both her patients and our team. Away from the office, Vera enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
- DenturesWhen multiple teeth, or all natural teeth are lost, complete or partial dentures can be designed to replace missing teeth. In most cases, extraction of remaining teeth to replace them with a full set of complete dentures is the last option considered.

- General DentistryDr. Booth was awarded Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2004. Achieving Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry is one of the few added distinctions a general dentist can achieve. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is the only professional association exclusively serving the interests and needs of the general dentist. To earn Mastership in the AGD, dentists must take more than 1,100 hours of educational courses in various disciplines. The award is then presented to general dentists in a formal ceremony; Dr. Booth is one of the less than 1 percent of general dentists who have achieved this honor.
