Edison School is a learning center that is a part of Macomb Community Unit School District 185. The school enrolls students in grades four through six. The school provides general academic and special education programs. It conducts speech therapy classes and offers computer education. The school also supports programs in physical education, fine arts and music. Edison School offers extracurricular activities, such as band, chorus, Math Olympiad and reading club. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraising activities and sponsors field trips and school events. Its library and media center provides an accelerated reader program and features a range of reference books. Located in Macomb, Ill., Edison School additionally offers meals and guidance counseling.
