I've been very particular about my espresso and coffee habits for much of my life. I need my caffeine in the morning and enjoy an espresso/coffee in the evening. While I lived in the city, it was easy to walk to my favorite coffeehouse and get my fix, but moving to the suburbs made it really tough. I found the gourmet espresso and coffee machines I wanted at Seattle Coffee Gear. They have a great selection of machines and their videos are super helpful. I had my own coffeehouse (my house) up and running in no time.

Surprised and disappointed are the best words to describe my experience with SCG. I'd ordered a 58 mm tamper from their website 3-26-11. Monday I called from my car to order a Rocket Espresso machine. I'd found the tamper I'd ordered was included with the espresso machine. I called SCG to cancel the tamp. The person I talked with told me it had already shipped. I thought "Wow, that's service!" I ordered the tamper Saturday and Monday it's already shipped. Because I was driving I decided to wait and order the espresso maker on line. Wednesday I began to expect my tamper. Wednesday - no delivery. Thursday, nothing, Friday and no tamper. Monday morning I called SCG to see what happened. Washington to Arizona is generally a two day ship. When looking up their # I read some of the reviews. Most were 5 stars but some weren't. I read the bad reviews and am glad I waited to order this $2,000.00 espresso machine. I just called to ask about my tamper. It's boxed up and for shipping. 1 week late
