I purchased a $2000 recliner (which they charged my credit card for immediately) and was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. After 6 weeks and not hearing from them I called the store to find out when my chair would actually arrive. The salesman on the phone told me that he couldn't tell and that I would need to speak with the salesman who sold me the chair and that he wouldn't be in for a few days. When I asked to speak with a manager the guy on the phone got kind of rude and told me that there wouldn't be a manager in for several more days and they wouldn't be able to tell me anything different. You would think that for the amount of money spent on 1 chair they would be able to tell you when it would be delivered and not treat the customers poorly just for asking. Horrible customer service.

I purchased a la z boy sectional leather couch during their memorial day sale this year 2009. i paid over $2,300 for the couch and had wonderful service so far. They told me it would take 4 weeks or so, but it was already on order so it wouldn't take as long as others. So ok, no big deal. Well about 3 weeks later they arrange for delevery and deliver the sectional to my house. Once the got it setup inside I started questioning them about all the scratches on the front and rear of the sofa. Thats when the delivery guy then said to me "well didn't you buy the floor model", to which I said no. So from there I drove back into the store to see that the display model was in fact gone from the store sales floor and now sitting in my living room. I ask the manager what is going on and he says to me "well i didn't think it had any scatches on it" ....At that point i told him to arrange to pick it up. I love la z boy furniture but this independent la z boy store is terrible and will never buy anything here ever again. In fact I am still waiting for them to return my initial deposit on the courch. So if your looking for la z boy furniture avoid this store at all cost, it is an independent one so la z boy corporate won't help you at all!!
