Bridgewell, operates under the name of Greater Lynn Mental Health and Retardation Association. It serves more than 2,900 people, and offers various programs for individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities, the homeless people and children with emotional and behavioral challenges. In addition, it offers transitional housing, supported living, temporary housing, shelter plus care, single room occupancy, representative payee services and voucher program. Its clinical staff includes psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech and language specialists, medical and nursing specialists and behavior-management specialists. The organization provides various disability treatment services, including sensory motor development, self-help skills, independent living skills, social skill development, communication skill development and behavioral skill development.
