I used Ward Dean Jr. as my CPA for several years. In my opinion, he was not attentive to my business. In spite of numerous attempts to communicate with him, he neglected my personal and corporate returns. Ultimately, his inefficiencies and lack of communication left me in a vulnerable position with the IRS and Virginia Department of Taxation. He communicated to me that he was filing extension on my behalf but did not disclose that he had not filed my returns for several years. This resulted in a total loss of refunds and thousands of additional dollars in penalties and interest. Not recommended.
