General Info

Dr. Skyler grew up in Dallas, Texas. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined our practice in 1999 and has been recognized with several awards for â??Best Bedside Manner.â?? Dr. McCurley is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He competes in Ironman triathlons, runs ultra-marathons, and likes to spend time cooking and reading. He has four children who, he says, have taught him more about pediatrics than any book or hospital.
