Chestnut Hill Bakery is Lynchburg, Virginia's premier bakery. We have been located on Fort Avenue for over 50 years where we still handcraft all of our goodies on a daily basis. We are proud to offer the best cakes and pies within 100 miles. Our bakers use old-time family recipes, made fresh daily. Everything is handmade at the bakery - even the frosting! From pastries to apple crumb pies to chocolate chip cookies to brownies to custard filled donuts, we do it all!

I used to live in appomattox,va and visit chestnut hill bakery often. They used to have the BEST sweet potato pie. I have been there twice since the new owners and I was told they use the same ingredients. On both occasions the sweet potato pie was the worst, not mixed well, very lumpy and not the same taste or texture. I will not buy another sweet potato pie from there.
