Bridges Treatment Center is operated by the Centra Health, and is located in Lynchburg, Va. It operates 24 hours, 365 days a year for children and adolescents who need structured residential care. It provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders. Bridges provides treatment to children and adolescents suffering from attention deficit disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, conduct disorder, schizophrenia, learning disabilities and anxiety disorders. The center s services include cancer and cardiovascular care, surgery, emergency care, heartburn treatment, joint replacement, mammography and mental health services. Its pain management services include treatment for neuropathic pain, spinal stenosis and degenerative disc pain. Its diabetes program is designed to promote diabetes self-management and provides diabetes education to patients. The center s mental health supports the emotional and mental well-being of the individuals and families.
