Lynbrook South Middle School employs guidance counselors, psychologists, nurses, subject teachers, and speech and language pathologists. The school has art, English, foreign language, science, social studies and special education departments. Its curriculum includes computers, math, music, physical education and technology. Lynbrook South Middle School has a library that offers a variety of encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, magazines, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes extracurricular activities and fundraising events for parents, teachers and students. Located in Lynbrook, N.Y., it serves students in grades six through eight. Lynbrook South Middle School is governed by Lynbrook Public Schools.
