For more than 50 years, Southwestern Mental Health Center has been providing mental healthcare services to the people of the United States. Based in Luverne, Minn., it provides a wide range of services, including community education services, outpatient mental health and adult residential mental health services as well as adult community support services, among others. Southwestern Mental Health Center also offers permanent supportive housing project and community support services for children. Additionally, it provides a mental health crisis response team, offering services, such as telephone crisis intervention, site response to assess and stabilize a crisis, assessment of risk of harm to self or others, information, referral and psychiatric hospitalization.
