The History Center collects, archives and display the stories of the people, places and things of Rock County, Minnesota. The History Center houses exhibits on the Luverne Automobile Company and the Luverne Fire Apparatus company, depictions of life in the county for early settlers and pioneers, a doll collection, and a permanent exhibit of over 4000 nutcrackers. The Research Area contains books, maps, photographs, obituaries, and articles about all aspects of life in Rock County, including history about each of the 10 communities.
