Their chilled lump crab cocktail is my favorite. That, with a side salad, is my standing order when in Timonium. It's right off I 83S before reaching the beltway.

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because the service was good. But the food was not. I was in town on business, and always make it a point to have crab cakes when I'm in MD. Didn't think it was possible to get a bad crab cake anywhere in the state - until now. It tasted like BOLOGNA - I kid you not!! Maybe too much of a specific spice or filler - not sure - but it was NOT right. Nor was the texture of 'the crab' right... When the waitress (who was very nice and attentive) asked how everything tasted - I told her of my intense dislike for the food in front on me - and she immediately whisked the plate away and asked if there was anything else that she could bring me (my answer was no - I was far too 'turned off' by the experience). Then something totally unfortunate happened - when I got the bill, I was charged for the dinner salad - which was supposed to be included as a part of the meal. Not a good way to run a business.

Hello,I am sending this because I was very disappointed at michaelis on New Years eve 2007. Our reservations were on time). The setting was good until the back door open and we were hit with a cold blast of air. This continue until we left.I order the steak done, when it arrived, it was very rare. I cut one small piece to see if I could eat it,Not only was it rare but also very uneatable. Icalled the waitress. She took it back and after awhile,I was asked what else I would prefer to have. I chose the dinner which took a while. My evening was ruined along with the rest of the party.
