Established in 1993, HopeWell Cancer Support is a nonprofit organization that offers care and support services to cancer patients and their families. The organization conducts educational workshops where specialized health care professionals, including physicians, psychologists, nurses, authors and nutritionists present a variety of cancer-related sessions. It provides consulting services for survivorship, financial planning and pain management. HopeWell Cancer Support organizes sessions in yoga, Tai Chi, exercise, relaxation, visualization and meditation. In addition, the organization operates networking groups to introduce people to others who have survived similar kinds of cancers. It offers assistance with the development of emotional, physical and social skills. HopeWell Cancer Support maintains a location in Lutherville, Md.
