Brightwood Retirement Community is operated by EMA Management that manages four independently owned retirement and assisted living communities in Maryland. It has been in operation for more than 20 years, and provides an array of services, including dining, security, housekeeping, transportation and maintenance. Brightwood Retirement Community provides various activities that include both on-site and off-site social and cultural activities, educational programs and day and overnight trips. Through the coordination of its health services director and a full-time registered nurse, Brightwood offers a wide range of services ranging from prevention to treatment in order to meet the needs of the senior citizens. It has dining and guest rooms, covered walkways, cocktail lounge, library, fitness center with heated lap pool and Jacuzzi, beauty salon, woodworking shop, an 18-hole putting green and a mail center. It is located in Lutherville, Md.
