Holy Cheese and Rice did we have a blast. Waters a tad rough on the way out (hurl, hurl) but once we go to where ever we were going (apparently Capt'n John's sweet spot) We caught our limit in no time. Hell we could have filled 4 coolers the way we were hookin them. What we didn't know was that Capt'n had a counter, then explained the legal ramifications of getting nailed with even 2 over our limit. (Dang Government)....Anyway John is a great guy, we had a rippin riot, and we WILL be back next year.

Just booked a walleye and a fall perch fishing charter aboard the Stray Cat. I'm taking the guy's from work walleye fishing and my son and daughter perch fishing. Our family has fished w/Captain John for over 10 years. The marina is close to home - just south of Monroe off I-75. The half day trips are the perfect get a way. I would recommend this fishing charter to anyone interested in fishing Lake Erie

Chartered a walleye fishing trip on the Stray Cat out of Luna Pier with my son, neighbor and his son both 12 year's old. Captain John really spent some time with the boy's. The boy's were allowed to "get involved". We just sat back and enjoyed the afternoon. We grilled some of the fish when we got home - First Class - We are going to make this an annual event. Jim

Walleye fished on Fathers day aboard the Stray Cat - I took my father and some friends, great experience - learned a lot, caught plenty of fish. Captain John runs a first class operation!

If you like to fish, have fun with your friends, catch some fine eating fish - call Captain JohnHe let us participate in the whole trip. I'd recommend taking your family - I went perch fishing with some coworkers and we are going to may this an annual event. John supplied everything, we just showed up with a small cooler of drinks and sandwiches - as they say the rest was history

Experienced Captain, very aware of your needs. My son and I learned a lot about walleye fishing and we are going to try perch fishing this fall. I'm taking a group from work this week.Captain John is great with children. The price of the trip was reasonable, we found a couple of good restaurants nearby and one cooked our fresh fish for us.
