Dr. Khater is a fellowship trained Corneal and External Disease specialist. Additionally, Dr. Khater and Dr. Bradley, are Lubbockâ??s ONLY fellowship trained refractive specialists (such as laser vision correction). Finally, Dr. Khater is Lubbockâ??s ONLY fellowship trained cataract specialist. Specialist in cornea, external disease, cataract & refractive surgery. Dr. Khater is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. The intent of the certification process of the American Board of Ophthalmology is to provide assurance to the public and to the medical profession that a certified physician has successfully completed an accredited course of education in ophthalmology and an evaluation including a written and an oral examination.
