General Info
May We Introduce Ourselves? We are a family of God, striving to obey His will by an honest approach to Scripture. It is our purpose to Worship God in the manner that He desires, giving Him glory and honor as set forth in the New Testament. Our purpose is also to bring others to Christ through plain and simple teaching and preaching. We, like Christ, are “…not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” 2 Peter 3:9. We seek to simply be the church you can read about in the Bible! Come join us as we walk together on the path that leads to everlasting life. We invite you to be like the apostle Paul, who, upon his arrival to Jerusalem, “attempted to join himself to the disciples…” (Acts 9:26). The Lord Himself takes care of the “adding” when it comes to membership in the universal body of Christ (Acts 2:47); However, as Acts 9:26 teaches, each Christian is to seek out and join a local church which is doing God’s will in both spirit and truth. We are taught by God that this should be a church that “holds forth the word of life,” and makes its appeal to His word (Phil. 2:16; 2Tim. 3:16-17). It should be a church that worships as we read about in the New Testament churches (Acts 2:42; Eph. 5:19). It should be a church that is organized with elders, who lead and feed the flock that is “among them” (1 Pet. 5:1-4), and having deacons who serve that flock as directed by the eldership (Acts 6:2), It should be a church wherein the preachers “speak as the oracles of God” and speak the truth “in love” (1 Pet. 4:11; Eph. 4:15; 2 Tim. 4:2). This church has four elders, ten deacons, two preachers, and a membership of more than 250 who are active Christians who serve, work and worship to lovingly honor God and one another in all they do. “Each one doing his share,” and causing “growth in the body for the edifying of itself in love” (Eph. 4:16).
