Located in Lubbock, Texas, Dunbar Middle School provides classes to more than 500 students in grades six through eight. Its syllabus includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, and reading and writing. The school offers a wide range of services, including guidance and counseling, food, transportation, and library and media resources. It offers the National Honor Society program and a student council. It offers physical education classes and various sports, including football, swimming, track and field, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. It offers a wide range of fine arts programs, such as choir, band and theater arts. Dunbar Middle School was founded in 1920 and is a part of the Lubbock Independent School District.
