I decided to choose Cranston Plumbing to replace a water heater based upon online recommendations, after I wasted $72 on a "free estimate" from somewhere else. He was upfront about what the price would be just to come out and look , and he was also upfront about how the final bill would increase based upon some unexpected complications he found along the way. He did quality work, did it in a reasonable amount of time, and cleaned everything up. He also gave a new customer discount and a price break on the unexpected extra work that had to be done. Had a hot water leak under the slab. In addition to the standard fix of busting up the tile and cement in the kitchen (and then not knowing when another leak might develop elsewhere), Rob suggested running a new hot water pipe through the ceiling to the kitchen sink. Since the house is two story, other plumbers dismissed this idea as too difficult.



Mr. Cranston prides himself on being a problem solver, He and his assistant, Chris, approached the installation very professionally. They installed the new pipe with a minimum of cutting sheet rock, and they cleaned up completely when they were finished. It was a definite plus not to have to patch the floor and re-install floor tile. The job was finished on time and on budget. I am 100% satisfied.
