These guys are super preditors. My buddy's car broke down and of course the cop was quick to call these cronies. My friend asked that his car be towed to his house-which was just yards away from where the car broke down. These crooks said no and proceeded to tow the car to their garage. We called another tow truck within minutes to take the car. The freaking car hadn't even been there for a half hour and these crooks charged for the maximum storage fee. They were very rude when we protested. I will never recommend them to anyone. I think they are in cahoots with the LPD to tow people's cars and prey on them. They should be ashamed of themselves. I hope their business goes under. I am only giving them one star because it's the only way I can post my review.

Happened to see this while looking up the number. Kevin has been my mechanic for about 25 years except when I moved away from the area..Believe me.I missed the peace of mind. I have never encountered such honesty at a mechanic. Many years ago I had authorized some very expensive work to be done and was surprised when I picked up my car and found it was under $75? Kevin explained that when he opened it up it turned out to be a small part and not the more expensive one. How many mechanics would have done that??? I was sold from then on.
absolutely horrible, pray you don't break down in this area. The guy in charge when my daughters car broke down and was towed was rude, offensive, condescending, unprofessional it's amazing he's employed. The 5 mile tow and changing of a spare tire was 246 dollars...cash only. Their garage and surrounding work area was littered with beer cans,My 18 year old daughter was on her way home from college when she got a flat.I was mortified the way she was treated by the staff.I came up from Connecticut to pay in cash and was treated like I was inconveniencing them. I honestly cant say 1 good thing about this crude outlaw business...Mike from Connecticut

My roommate got into an accident, and her car was towed here at 2 in the morning. While the tow truck driver was nice to her, and the 24 hour towing is convenient, the people at the shop have been very rude to deal with. My roommate was constantly given the run-around, was never told exactly what was being fixed, or when it was being done. My experience with other shops was they tell you what needs to be done, give you an estimate and ask if it's okay to start work. Here, it sounded like we got an estimate before the car was even looked at. She just found out yesterday that she can get a list of the repairs when she picked it up today. They kept pushing back the time it would be ready until we called and flat-out told them we need it ASAP. The only nice thing is that they said they would have it ready before she has to work in the afternoon, then they promptly hung up on her. Don't go to this place, they are not worth the grief.

These guys are rude and arrogant and obviously feel entilted to be that way because they have a contract with the city of Lowell. My car ran out of gas and was towed away within the 20 minutes it took me to return with a can of gas. Not only did they threaten to not allow me to pick up my car when i was standing in their office with cash in hand but then called the cops on me who also threated to arrest me for being disorderly stating "show me an ID, i hope you have warrents so i can arrest you". After leaving this officer disappointed because of my clean record he returned my ID to me AND THEN questioned Stuart's employee as to the threat of holding up my car and charging me extra storage fees. Bottom line, I've paid taxes for the past 30 years and have held up 2 consecutive jobs for the past 8 years. Basically because of people like myself, this cop and stuart's employee make a living and feed their families. I'm sorry they cant see these things for themselves. Its all corruption

They were AWESOME!!! They saved my but. I wrecked my car in the snow and they were there in 15 minutes and towed me and my car back to my house. I can't say enough how nice it was to have some one there so quick who knew what they were doing and took care of me in my time of need. Thank you again Stuart's, from me and my family.
I don't know what everyone is complying about in the other reviews! The folks here at Stuart's where great! They where open the day after Christmas, to my surprise was the only shop open. Broke down on 495, an hour from home, fuel pump craped out, had AAA tow me to them. After they got it on the lift and removed the fuel tank, the tank was rotted out. They try to find a used one but ended up getting an aftermarket tank. Great phone communications. So tank and new fuel pump in and my truck was back on the road. A BIG Thank You to the folks at Stuart's! Would diffidently recommend them.
It's not a suprise that evrey review I read about this company is bad. After dealing with this towing company I wonder how they can be in buisiness. This company is pathetic, employees are unprofessianal and rude. The owner does not have time except to collect money. I hope this buisiness goes under.
I have never before experienced such agressive, quick tempered, angry business as this in 48 years. When I questioned the bill going up $110.00 dollars more than the previous day for a tow (less than 50 miles round trip ) after a collision for a total of $350.00, they were very angry and aggressive.
