Charlotte M. Murkland Elementary School offers programs and activities to enhance the academic, social and physical skills of students. It has more than 20 classrooms and serves over 500 students. Founded in 1993, the school is located in Lowell, Mass. Its campus includes a cafeteria, library media center, parent center, gymnasium, art and music rooms, and science and computer labs. The school provides physical, occupational, language and speech therapies. It educates students in prekindergarten through grade four and offers classes in physical education, English, math, science, social studies and language arts. The school s after-school activities include a homework club and Title I and extended time programs.
