Prior to joining Gallagher & Cavanaugh she worked at a general practice law firm, assisting with personal injury cases, litigating contested divorces, negotiating contracts, incorporating start-up businesses, and consulting on estate planning. She then transitioned into specialized civil litigation where she spent many years defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators throughout Georgia against workers' compensation claims.
