I took my grandson there for preschool. The place appeared very clean and orderly. I picked him up and noticed scratches on his face. No one said a thing about it. He went there for a few days. One morning, The kids were getting ready to go outside. One boy was pinching another boy's ear very hard. Two other boys were pushing each other around. A "teacher" was just standing there watching this unacceptable behavior. I told the children to stop hurting each other and be nice. You are never allowed to put your hands on some one else and hurt them. The boy who had his ear pinched stood up on a bench and told me his father would hurt me. The "teacher" watching said the boy pinching would get a time out one the play ground. My grandson started to cry. I went to the front desk and reported what I had seen. The girl up front was cuddling the boy who got pinched and threatened me. I told the girl bullying was unacceptable and needs to be stopped. We left and never went back.

This place is a sad sad day care. I can't believe I trusted these people with my baby for a year and a half. They can't seem to keep any employees and that is so sad for the kids. How are they suppose to get any kind of consistency with the staff always changing. I HATE how when I take my son in, he is in one class with a teacher I have never seen before and when I pick him up at the end of the day, he is in a different class with a totally different teacher. Who knows how many different teachers he is with during the day. So when I go to pick him up, I have to search the whole center from class to class looking for him. None of the teachers seem to know his name. When I go in to pick him up, they have to ask me who I am and what kid I am looking for. They should know what kid belongs with which parent. I know it is hard, when you can't keep any employees...but if you don't know the parents and the kids, you need to learn them.

I previously worked at this certain facility where i found it to be unfit for childcare. There were roaches on some occassions, and the teachers were rude to the children or neglected them. I worked there for several months before being fed up with the situations there, they are people of little moral values. More then once I heard of buying and selling pills, and alcohol was even there at one point. Even if it were on accident which is ignorant, it should have been removed immediately. Some employees even attend work hung-over, after drinking the previous night. I absolutely do not reccomend Colemans Children Academy of Lowell,AR. The owner would come and check to make sure it was clean and running smooth but would have different changes every time, yet would not support it financially. Many times we would run out of trash bags, cleaning products, and gloves for changing the children. There was not even a vacuum cleaner, the carpet were rarley swept!
