This halfway house will kick you out for nonpayment is you fall behind. My son just got employed and owed some back pay, and they refused to work with him on catching up rent due. If you are on probation and have trouble finding work you may very well be kick out of this program. It is hard enough for those coming out of jail or prison...Beware!

My review of the program as in the recovery for addicts and alcoholics is really effective. I got a lot out of it for the brief time i was their. I got there on the 5th of january 5th of 2014 and left behind a really great job up north to help with my disease. I was also told that they work with their residents until they get a job and if you show that you are thorough program making your meetings working with your sponser and looking for a job. I met everything they asked me todo plus exceeded the meetings that was asked todo with 5 extra in the first week. Now the first thursday there you have to make a commitment if you have not paid your 75 dollars for rent that you must pay every week on friday and if you dont have it then you have to make a commitment thursday and before friday and on my case i just got a job thru a temporary service that i was starting the second week there. Anyways the place i worked told me that they pay the friday after one full week that i worked. So i called darell wales the owner and operator of the facility and told him that i wouldnt have the money to to pay on my commitment because i had no money that i had to leave if i hadnt the 75 dollars. I didnt drink or drug but the point is that they said they work with their residents.. thats a lie. Great program if you come in with money. If you dont and you will be back to the streets. They dont care about you being or staying sober. There is one guy there that is co owner by the name mike white that truly works with you. Two weeks darell wales throws me out because i wouldnt get paid until the 3rd week in which i told him that i would have it all caught up

Our Father's House is a sober living/transitional community for men coming from; prison, jail, other facilities ,home and some are homeless. They come seeking change of living and spiritual growth.An aftercare program is available upon completion of the program. This is a 3-6 months program depending on assessment.
