A visit to Firehouse Subs will definitely brighten anyone's day the moment you walk in the door. It's almost like walking into "Cheers", where everyone knows your name. The feisty staff greets you with a hearty "Welcome to Firehouse!" and they mean it! Their food is definitely not your run-of-the-mill sub menu. My personal favorite is the Hook and Ladder as well - you will not see a sub like this one at Jimmy Johns or Subway. Their fresh, warm rolls almost seem like they are made in-house --- whatever brand of Virginia Honey Ham they use has a flavor like none I've ever tasted - once you taste Firehouse subs you will never go back to Jimmy Johns - guaranteed! The Hook and Ladder will definitely get you hooked! Firehouse's Steak and Cheese sub is to die for, and should aptly be renamed "The Philly Cheese Steak" - there's none closer to the prime cheese steaks one gets at the Italian Market in Philly - complete with peppers and onions. A definite PASS & TEN STAR RATING!!!!! A+++++++++
