- AKC STAR Puppy TrainingTraining classes teach you how to best communicate with your puppy. Organized training classes also provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you'll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including housetraining, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training is a natural lead in to the AKC® Canine Good Citizen® Program.
- AKC Canine Good Citizen TrainingCGC Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.
- No Time For A Once A Week Class? Sign Up For Bluegrass Pet Resort Topic Classes. These classes focus only on one topic. The time commitment for the class is one Saturday for 3 hours:
- Recall - Learn the components needed to have a dog that comes when called.
- Loose Lead Walking - Learn the components needed to have a dog that does not pull when taken out for a walk.
- Leave it - Learn the components needed to have a dog that is able to leave objects/animals alone when out for a walk.

Bluegrass Pet Resort requires a current shot record from a veterinarian showing your pet is up to date on the following vaccines:
- Rabies Booster (1 year/3 years)
- DHLPP - Distemper/Parvo combination (1 year/3 year)
- Bordetella (1 year/6 months)
- Prescription Medication has to be in the original container prescribed by the veterinary/pharmacist with the owners' and pet names' and instructions listed. This earns loyalty points!
- Over the Counter Medication has to be in the original container with instructions for dosage. This earns loyalty points!
- Your dog will be out and about most of the day. They will be so busy and having so much fun they will not need anything extra. Bringing lots of toys is not necessary. Pick 2 items for your pet to have while they are here at Bluegrass Pet Resort. Make sure to label them this earns loyalty points!
- Valuable or irreplaceable possessions should be left at home. Such as antlers, beds,
- To protect your pet, bedding will be removed if the pet is chewing/shredding it to protect against ingestion.
- All food must be in a hard plastic or tin container with a tightly fitted lid. This earns loyalty points!
- Belongings left past 7 days will be donated.
- Food and containers left past 7 days will be donated.

- Boarding for the discriminating catCamp Kitty offers kitty cabins that are head and shoulders above the typical cat boarding experience.
- LiterallyOur kitty cabins are 8-foot high enclosures with Kuranda climbing poles and lots of hiding places so your cat can decide just how social it wants to be. Unlike standard cat boarding facilities where small cages line the walls, Camp Kitty is a bright and happy place where the walls are covered in colorful murals.
