- Our practice specializes in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. We make it a priority to establish a personal relationship with our patients and their families. Our goal is to help you achieve optimal health for your child by being partners with you in their care. We will do our best to make each and every visit to our office pleasant and helpful. Below are profiles of our physicians (all board certified in Pediatrics) and nurse practitioners. We are proud to acknowledge Dr. Cowley and our two nurse practitioners, Ms. Hawes and Ms. Oberst, as being Certified Lactation Consultants. · Dr. Jeffrey Burton MD, FAAP · Dr. John Blair MD, FAAP · Dr. C. Ellen Cowley MD, FAAP · Dr. Kathleen Maurer MD, FAAP · Dr. Jeffrey Wampler MD, FAAP · Missy Hawes ARNP, IBCLC · Jenny Oberst ARNP, CLC We offer all major pediatric services such as Physicals, Allergy Shots, Check-Ups, etc. In addition we have on staff two Certified Lactation Consultants, Missy Hawes ARNP-C, IBCLC and Jenny Oberst ARNP-C, CLC. Other services include selling Breast Pumps with instruction from our Certified Lactation Consultants, one Saturday a month the physicians meet new and expectant parents/patients, offer CPR classes, ear ring placement under controlled conditions. Our goal is to help you achieve optimal health for your child by being partners with you in their care. We will do our best to make each and every visit to our office pleasant and helpful. 24 Hour Answering service - calls are handled by Pediatric Acute Care Triage Nurses. We are available if you need to speak to a doctor. Please let the nurse know that you wish to do so. For medication refills of CONTROLLED Substances, please call the office during working hours only. We require 5 days notice to authorize the refill. For all other refills, call your Pharmacy. They will notify of us of your request even if your current prescription has no refills left.
