When you step into Obrigado, you feel like you're stepping into one of the finer restaurants in Georgetown (DC), Charlottesville, or some other quaint upscale downtown. The ambiance is comforting and ecclectic and the food is consistent and wonderfully flavorable! It's quite a pleasant surprise in Louisa, VA. I highly recommend the Obrigado Restaurant. Try visiting their wine tasting events. I have purchased exquisite wines from various countries at reasonable prices.The OBQ (a subsidiary of Obrigado) serves BBQ for lunch. My only complaint is that they're not open during the weekends or for dinner! The BBQ is delicioius, one of the best in Virginia.For those of you passing through Louisa County during your wine tours or while you're visiting Lake Anna, I highly recommend that you call Obrigado to make reservations for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. You won't be disappointed!
